Paper 1 — Applications of Mathematical Knowledge
Lessons drill fast, accurate work across algebra, sequences, logarithms, trigonometry, calculus and coordinate geometry, with an emphasis on shortcuts that save time under pressure.
The TMUA rewards mathematical reasoning rather than syllabus recall. Preparation focuses on logic, proof and speed across both papers, with regular timed practice.

Students practise logic, necessary and sufficient conditions, proof techniques and identifying flawed arguments — the areas most A-Level students have least experience with.
Support is also available for other university admission mathematics tests and for general admission-test style problem solving alongside A-Level or IB study.
Tell us the subject, level and curriculum and we will match the student with a suitable tutor. A free 30-minute demo session is available.
